This Code serves as a fundamental framework for ethical decision-making and behavior, contributing to the creation of an environment based on trust, transparency, and respect among all stakeholders.
Suppliers are required to adhere to the principles outlined in this Code in all their activities related to our company. We expect our suppliers to act in compliance with legal regulations, promote sustainable and fair business practices, minimize environmental impact, and contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive work environment. This Code not only defines minimum standards of behavior but also encourages suppliers to continuously improve and innovate in the areas of ethics, sustainability, and responsibility. Adherence to these principles is crucial for maintaining long-term and prosperous business relationships.
1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
- Laws and Regulations: Suppliers must comply with all relevant legal provisions and regulations, including local, regional, and international laws applicable to their business operations. This includes laws related to taxes, trade, sanctions, customs regulations, and other relevant legislation.
- Workplace Safety: Suppliers are required to ensure that their work environment is safe and healthy. They must comply with all regulations concerning occupational safety and health (OSH), including implementing appropriate safety measures, training employees, and providing adequate protective equipment.
- Environmental Protection: Suppliers must comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations. Beyond complying with current legislation, our suppliers commit to maximizing responsibility for minimizing the negative impacts of their activities on the environment, including proper waste management, reducing emissions, and efficiently using natural resources.
- Labor Law: Suppliers must respect and comply with all labor rights and regulations that protect employee rights. This includes, but is not limited to, laws concerning working hours, wages, compensation, payment of mandatory contributions, freedom of association, collective bargaining, and the prohibition of child and forced labor.
- Ethical Business Practices: Suppliers are required to act honestly and transparently in all business transactions. They must avoid all forms of corruption, bribery, and conflicts of interest. We expect them to promote ethical behavior not only within their own organization but also among their partners and subcontractors.
- Protection of Confidential Information: Suppliers must protect the company’s confidential information and not use it for personal gain. Information about the company may only be shared with permission and in accordance with data protection principles.
